Position: Accountant
Work Location: Remotely from anywhere in India
Work Timing : 6:30 PM IST - 4:00 AM IST Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
Handle bank reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing processes
Work on US accounting standards (GAAP) and ensure compliance
Manage invoicing, billing, and collections for US clients
Assist in tax preparation and coordination with external auditors/CPAs
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
Use accounting software like Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar tools
Coordinate with internal teams and US clients for financial data and reporting
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of total accounting experience
Minimum 2 years of experience working with US-based companies/clients
Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, Net Suite, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Good communication skills (written & verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in outsourcing/KPO environment
Knowledge of US taxation basics
Exposure to API-driven or automated accounting processes
