Xiaomi India is seeking a creative, data-driven, and experienced Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy, drive unique storytelling and engagement, and strengthen our brand presence across India.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital platforms, consumer behaviour, and social trends, with a proven track record of managing large-scale social campaigns for prominent brands.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy tailored to each platform.
- Drive brand storytelling, product launches, and campaigns tailored to different consumer segments.
- Conduct competitor analysis and research emerging platforms and trends to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
- Leverage insights to refine and evolve the social media strategy.
2. Content Creation & Management:
- Lead content planning and calendar management, ensuring a mix of product-led, brand-led, and community-driven content.
- Oversee the production of high-quality, platform-specific creatives.
- Collaborate with the creative team to design content that resonates with the target audience.
3. Performance Analytics
- Track and analyze the performance of social campaigns, leveraging data to optimize content and strategy.
4. Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, brand, and growth marketing, to align social media efforts with overall business goals.
- Partner with influencers, content creators, and external agencies to amplify brand reach and engagement.
5. Support Community Management
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers to foster a strong online community.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in managing social media for well-known brands or agencies.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics, tools, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and copywriting skills.
- Experience in handling product or brand campaigns at scale.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with performance marketing and digital advertising is a plus.
- Experience working in the technology or consumer electronics sector (not mandatory)
