The Agile Center of Enablement is a collaborative entity within Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) organization that engages across the business and DTS to drive Product and Agile Transformation for digital products.
As a member of this team, the Senior Product and Agile Coach will lead DTS to transform into a customer focused, outcome driven organization by adopting product management and Agile best practices.
The role will provide coaching to Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, as well as leaders on adopting product, Agile mindset, and execution.
This role will also monitor effectiveness of the transformation journey and bring industry best practice to drive continuous improvement and sustainment of product management and Agile practices in the organization.
Responsibilities: Be a part of the Agile Center of Enablement and help build the deep, institutional capability required to become a truly Agile organization.
Determine how to scale agile beyond the individual team or departmental level and use the right scaling model to drive adoption.
Partner with leaders for the identification of organizational and development value streams/product or platform teams and for the designing of their organization structure using various team topologies and Product/Platform Taxonomy.
Drive OKR (Objectives and Key Results) workshops with the Business stakeholders, Product Management Team, IT Leadership, and the Agile Delivery Teams.
Directly influence leadership (up to executive levels) and their teams throughout DTS (infrastructure, applications teams, business partners, Strategy/Innovation/Architecture, Cyber Security and Assurance) and business to drive adoption of Product and Agile thinking.
Hands-on coaching on the floor to key product roles – Product Manager, Product Owner and Scrum Master and Scrum teams including but not limited to practices such as demand gathering, prioritization, product roadmaps, defining epics/features, authoring user stories, acceptance criteria, user acceptance testing, release planning, sprint planning, measuring agile metrics, and drive continuous improvement of team performance.
Facilitate and coach Agile Release Train/Product/Program level events such as PI Planning/Quarterly Planning, Steerco, Quarterly Product Review, System Demo, Scrum of Scrums, Solution Demo, etc.
for Release Train/Cross-Product/Cross-team setup.
Assess maturity of teams and provide right level of coaching to Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters at a sustainable pace.
Be a part of the Agile Center for Enablement and help roll out best practices like Agile metrics.
Monitor effectiveness of the transformation journey and drive continuous improvement to product management, Agile framework, and practices.
Provide guidance on how product teams will monitor outcomes and value realization.
Coordinate and facilitate agile related community of practice activities to enable local thought leadership and collaboration and to drive shared learnings across the enterprise.
Provide coaching to leaders associated with product teams to enable agile culture.
Build agile coaching capability throughout the enterprise and mentor agile coaches.
Develop agile training materials and process guidelines.
Deliver hands-on training in classroom and in virtual setting using collaboration tools (like Mural, Miro, or others) in support of enterprise-wide initiatives for internal agile development paths.
Provide guidance to support migration from project centric organization to product centric organization.
Qualifications: B.
A., B. S./M. S.
or B. E/B. Tech. (Advanced degree preferred) in a relevant field.
12+ years of Professional experience with a minimum of 10 years of Information Technology experience.
Must-Have: Product Management experience.
Experience in designing organization structure.
Driving OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
On-floor coaching for Product Managers.
Involved in PI/Quarterly Planning, Steer Co, and Product Reviews.
Guiding product teams on outcome and value measurement.
Proficient in collaboration tools (Mural, Miro, etc.).
Preferred: Experience in transition from project-centric to product-centric models.
2+ years in Product Management.
IT application services delivery background.
Scrum Master and/or Product Owner certification.
Experience in developing and implementing methodologies.
Familiarity with Dev Ops and Platform development.
Bonus: Certifications like ICP-ACC, Certified Digital Product Manager.
