This is a full-time permanent role.
Objective: As an Architectural Specialist, you will craft a range of construction contract documents from foundational to highly intricate, adhering to established protocols and standards.
Your role includes developing Life Safety Plans, summarizing Building Codes based on IBC, ADAG, and OSHA standards, and preparing detailed US construction technology specifications.
You will also be responsible for creating compelling visualizations for proposals and presentations, as well as estimating efforts based on the required Level of Detail (LOD).
Key Responsibilities: Contract Document Preparation: Generate and manage construction contract documents, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Develop Life Safety Plans and Building Code Summaries.
Create detailed drawings, schedules for doors, windows, and finishes.
Review specifications and shop drawing submissions.
Collaboration & Visualization: Collaborate across disciplines, conducting clash detections to ensure seamless integration.
Produce renderings, fly-throughs, walk-throughs, and 4 D sequencing for project visualization.
Material & Design Research: Identify and procure suitable construction materials and technologies.
Lead the research and documentation of construction methods and regulatory compliance.
Leadership & Coordination: Guide the formulation and coordination of building designs with a multi-disciplinary team.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior architects.
Sales & Proposal Development: Work with sales teams to craft proposals, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in architecture, registered with the Council of Architecture, and a member of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA).
Over 15 years of experience in architecture, with a preference for experience with international (US-based) firms.
Proficiency in BIM tools such as REVIT, Auto CAD Architecture, Navisworks, Sketch Up, and Infraworks.
Expertise in visualization software including 3ds Max, Lumion, Twin Motion, Enscape, V-Ray, and presentation tools like Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.
In-depth knowledge of US construction technologies and design applications.
Preferred Qualifications: NCARB certification is advantageous.
Experience with Civil 3 D is beneficial.
