Role:
Pre-Post Silicon Verification Engineer
Fulltime (Work from office Mon-Fri)
Location:
Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans for pre-silicon verification of mixed-signal and analog IP.
Create behavioral models for analog circuits to validate system functionality.
Conduct simulations (functional, performance, and power) using tools like Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, HSPICE, and other EDA tools.
Work on testbench development, regression analysis, and coverage closure.
Post-Silicon Validation
Develop post-silicon test strategies, including bench setup and lab instrumentation.
Perform hardware debugging and validation on test silicon to validate design performance against specifications.
Automate silicon testing procedures and analysis.
Collaborate with lab teams to perform root cause analysis and correlate silicon results to simulations.
Collaboration
Interact closely with cross-functional teams, including design, layout, product, and test engineering.
Document results, lessons learned, and verification strategies for future design cycles.
Qualifications
Education:
B. E/B. Tech or M. E/M. Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
Strong background in analog/mixed-signal design and verification.
Experience in pre-silicon simulation (Spectre, HSPICE, Cadence AMS, etc.).
Hands-on experience with post-silicon validation tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and logic analyzers.
Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (Python, Perl, Tcl, etc.).
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB, Ser Des, etc.).
Knowledge of hardware description languages (Verilog, System Verilog).
Experience with data analysis tools like MATLAB or Python for silicon validation.
Exposure to ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) environments.
