We are seeking an experienced and motivated. NET Production Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in. NET technologies with secondary expertise in Sybase, Mongo DB, or Unix. In this role, you will be responsible for providing ongoing production support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents related to. NET applications in a live environment. You will work closely with development teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and minimal downtime
Responsibilities:
- Incident Management:
Quickly resolve production incidents, troubleshooting application errors and performance issues. - Problem Management:
Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues. - Monitoring and Alerting:
Monitor application performance and set up alerts to identify potential problems proactively. - Deployment Support:
Assist with production deployments, ensuring smooth transitions and post-deployment validation. - Performance Tuning:
Optimize. NET applications and databases to improve performance and scalability. Collaboration:
Work with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and improve processes. - Documentation:
Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and troubleshooting steps. - On-Call Support:
Provide 24/7 support through on-call rotation for critical systems. - Automation:
Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and streamline support processes. Security:
Ensure production systems adhere to security best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-4 Years experience in a production support or similar role, supporting. NET applications.
- Strong understanding of. NET framework, C#, ASP. NET, and related technologies (e. G., Web API, MVC, Entity Framework
- Secondary expertise in Sybase, Mongo DB, or Unix.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
