About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled Node JS Backend Developer with a strong command over Type Script to join our dynamic engineering team.
You will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for our web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Type Script.
- Implement RESTful APIs and/or Graph QL endpoints to power front-end applications.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA to deliver robust features.
- Integrate with 3rd party APIs and internal services.
- Ensure secure coding practices and proper error handling/logging.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues efficiently.
Required Skills :
- 3+ years of experience in Node.js development.
- 2+ years of professional experience in Type Script.
- Experience with backend frameworks like Express.js or Nest JS.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
- Familiar with SQL (Postgre SQL/My SQL) or No SQL (Mongo DB/Redis) databases.
- Proficient in Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) is a plus.
Good to Have :
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Working knowledge of Graph QL, Web Sockets, or g RPC.
- Exposure to AWS / GCP / Azure.
- Testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Supertest.
