Overview We are looking for a rockstar technical leader to join our Platform Engineering team in the Staff Engineer / Engineering Manager role. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in driving architectural initiatives, providing technical leadership and contribute to the development of distributed scalable systems. You will have the opportunity to build robust solutions from scratch, re-platform existing components, deploy them in an agile and automated manner and support the growth and development of your team members. Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 10 years of professional experience in platform engineering and architecture, with 3 years in technical leadership roles Expert-level proficiency in NodeJS, TypeScript, AWS, Docker, RabbitMQ, and MySQL Mid to expert level proficiency in one or more ecosystems from Ruby, Python, Go Proven track record of delivering complex projects with high quality. Strong understanding of scalable microservices-based architectures and multi-tenant systems. Ability to drive architectural initiatives and make informed technology decisions. Solid understanding of clean, bug-free code principles and scalable API development using REST principles. Experience with building CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Excellent people management skills with a focus on mentoring and coaching. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
