This is a remote position.

Seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize Oracle databases within our Azure Cloud environment.

This role requires an individual with deep expertise in Oracle technologies particularly in a Department of Defense (Do D) setting ensuring compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and other regulations.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with Oracle Goldengate microservices and cloud integration within Azure.

Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Oracle databases within the Azure Cloud ensuring high availability performance and security.

Implement and uphold STIG compliance across Oracle databases conducting regular audits and updates to meet Do D standards.

Manage Oracle Goldengate microservices environments for data replication and integration.

Enforce database security measures including user access controls encryption and vulnerability management adhering to Do D guidelines Optimize database performance by monitoring tuning and proactive resource management.

Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.

Work closely with crossfunctional teams including IT security application development and cloud infrastructure to support and enhance the overall database environment.

Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations procedures and compliance activities.
