We dominate our categories inside the Shopify App Store and are now doubling down on diversified acquisition and up-market expansion—which is where you come in.
The Opportunity
You’ll be Artos’s first marketing hire—both the strategic lead and the day-to-day operator. You’ll architect the growth engine that takes us from “popular apps” to “the only solution merchants think about." We aim to remain bootstrapped & profitable while scaling up - if that excites you, you will not regret joining us.
Core outcomes
- Deeply audit current install funnel, revenue data, and competitive landscape.
- Ship quick-win campaigns (SEO, paid experiments, partner newsletters) to prove channel lift.
- Formalize positioning & messaging for STOQ and Filemonk.
- Stand up repeatable paid & organic programs that grow new installs + diversified traffic 25-50 %.
- Scope initial team/agency needs; hire as justified
- Own a predictable pipeline that adds $X net-new ARR / month.
- (Stretch) Pilot an outbound sales motion for mid-market plus partner/affiliate programs.
What You’ll Do
- Own metrics like new installs, diversified channel mix, brand search volume, and—ultimately—net-new ARR.
- Run paid search & social, lifecycle/email, content/SEO, CRO, partnerships, analytics.
- Build the team and function, Decide tooling, processes, and (later) hire freelancers or full-timers.
- Help us tell the story. Position Artos and our apps to merchants in a way that converts.
- Stay scrappy. Launch, measure, iterate—then scale what works, cut what doesn’t.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3+ years owning growth for a Shopify app OR B2 B Saa S product at similar scale.
- Fluency in the Shopify ecosystem—app store algos, Plus/agency partnerships, merchant mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to take a channel from zero to meaningful revenue
- Bias to work hands on and to sweat the details.
- Strong analytical chops and a drive for rapid experimentation.
- High agency and always bias to action.
- Excellent written English; able to overlap 8 a.m.–1 p.m. EST on weekdays to work directly with CEO.
