As a Software Engineer III - Java Full stack at WLT team in Commercial Banking at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a full stack developer in an Individual Contributor role & seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives. You will be working on WLT's CAMP application platform which interfaces with multiple systems.Job responsibilities.Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.Hands on experience of Java, Spring Boot, Messaging, Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle Database & Angular/React.Performs code reviews & works independently as an individual contributor.Creates secure and high-quality production code & promotes code to higher environments using CI/CD.Strong Partnership & Collaboration skills.Familiar working on Agile/SCRUM environmentRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceHands-on experience in building microservices using messaging services like Kafka and deployment on container orchestration platform like ECS Fargate or EKS in AWS8+ yearsof experience in Java, Spring Boot,Messaging, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk & Oracle Database.3+ years of experience in Angular/ReactSolid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies & tools like JIRA, CI/CD - Jenkins / spinnaker, git / Bitbucket and MavenHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, debugging, testing and operational stabilityPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFamiliarity withEvent driven architecture (EDA)AWS certificationAutomated Functional testing (like Cucumber)
