We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Operations Professional to join our team at The Face Shop in Worli, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing company-owned stores or kiosks and overseeing specialty retail stores acquisition and operations. This role is pivotal in driving store performance, ensuring operational excellence, and enhancing customer satisfaction. (Personal care, Make up, & Skin care Industry only)Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations Management : oversee daily operations of company-owned stores and kiosks to ensure smooth functioning and high standards. Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality across all retail locations. Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, visual merchandising standards, and inventory management protocols.
Specialty Retail Store Acquisition : Identify potential locations for new store openings and kiosks, conducting thorough market research and feasibility studies. Negotiate and finalize lease agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the brand. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for the seamless setup and launch of new stores.
Sales and Performance : Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Lead and motivate store teams to deliver exceptional customer service and maximize sales.
Team Management and Development: Recruit, train, and mentor store managers and retail staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support professional development. Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts promptly and effectively.
Customer Experience : Ensure a superior customer experience by maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and product availability. Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution. Implement customer engagement initiatives to build loyalty and repeat business.
Operational Excellence : Monitor and manage store budgets, expenses, and profitability. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address operational issues. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail operations management, preferably in the beauty or specialty retail sector.
Proven track record in managing company-owned stores or kiosks and overseeing store acquisitions.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of retail metrics and performance analysis.
