The Big Commerce Lead plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the Ecommerce platform for the organization.

This role is pivotal in driving the online sales strategy ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers and managing the technical aspects of the Big Commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the implementation and optimization of the Big Commerce platform.

Develop and execute strategies to drive online sales and maximize the platforms potential.

Deep expertise in Big Commerce development including the Stencil framework Big Commerce APIs and custom theme/ plugin development.

Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML CSS Java Script) and backend development (PHP Node.js Java etc.).

Experience with RESTful API development and thirdparty integrations.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g.

Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of cloud services serverless architectures and performance optimization techniques.

Manage and enhance the user experience ensuring a seamless and intuitive shopping journey.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align Ecommerce strategies with overall business objectives.

Monitor and analyze website metrics and performance implementing SEO best practices to improve visibility and traffic.

Stay updated with Ecommerce trends and best practices to ensure the platform remains competitive.

Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement to enhance the online customer experience.

Lead and mentor a team of Ecommerce professionals fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Coordinate with vendors and thirdparty providers to leverage additional Ecommerce tools and capabilities.

Manage Ecommerce projects ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.

Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Information Technology or related field.

8 years of experience in ecommerce development with a focus on Big Commerce.

Expertise in either Big Commerce Fullstack or a combination of Big Commerce and Shopify.

Strong technical leadership abilities and experience in guiding development teams.

Proven experience in leading and managing Ecommerce platforms specifically Big Commerce.

Demonstrated success in driving online sales and improving conversion rates.

Extensive knowledge of Ecommerce best practices including SEO user experience and analytics.

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Experience in leveraging data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive Ecommerce strategies.

Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a highperforming team.

Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with the aptitude to work across functions and levels within the organization.

Indepth understanding of Ecommerce technologies integrations and thirdparty tools.

Certifications in Big Commerce or Ecommerce platforms are a plus.
