Summary: We are looking for a BI Developer with a deep understanding of the Microsoft BI tool stack to support the Business Intelligence strategy in a dimensional data warehouse environment. The Developer III contributes specialized technical knowledge in multiple application development efforts. This position will participate in all phases of the development cycle. Responsibilities: Extensive working experience with MS SQL BI stack including PowerbI/SSAS/SSIS Develop concepts of reports, analytics and visualizations development, using DAX, SQL, tuning, data models and semantic models for POCs and pilots Understand Cloud and Power BI migration techniques (on-premise and Cloud Platforms) including Power BI gateway setup etc. Performance tune products including, but not limited to, load balancing, caching, etc., Partner with DBAs, on-prem and Cloud Security team to source necessary data, map source data to target structures, and define query methods. Communicate effectively with both business, technical stakeholders as well as leadership Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and a high level of focus and attention to detail. Strong work ethic with good time management with the ability to work with diverse teams. Required Skills/Qualifications : 5 to 6 years of experience in architecting Microsoft BI reporting technologies including Power BI, SSAS, SSIS. Experience with Test-Driven Development Experience with source control, work item tracking, and build management with Azure Team Foundation Server (or similar) Strong experience working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) and experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA). Passion for building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be motivated with a focus on team performance.
