Power Bi Solution Architect, Hyderabad

We are looking for a seasoned Power BI Solution Architect with strong proficiency in business intelligence and data modeling.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to lead end-to-end BI solutioning, possess excellent client engagement skills, and deliver impactful dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI and related Microsoft BI technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop efficient data models using Star and Snowflake schema in SQL and Power BI.

- Integrate BI solutions across multiple BI tools and platforms.

- Architect and implement robust and scalable BI solutions.

- Extract, transform, and load data (ETL) from multiple sources into Power BI.

- Utilize data connectors for both Cloud and On-Premises Databases, Share Point, and Gateways.

- Perform data transformation using Power Query Editor and M language.

- Create advanced, interactive visualizations and dashboards in Power BI.

- Write complex DAX expressions for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.

- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and ensure data governance and security compliance.

- Manage deployment and refresh scheduling within Power BI Service (Workspaces, Apps).

- Optimize data loading and implement incremental refresh strategies.

- Embed Power BI reports into Power Apps and web applications.

- Build paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.

- Provide professional communication with clients and stakeholders and contribute to solutioning in pre sales and delivery.

Required Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling (Star and Snowflake schema)

- Strong experience with Power BI including DAX, M language, and Power Query

- Experience in data engineering workflows (ETL)

- Familiarity with various data connectors and cloud/on-premise integration

- Understanding of Power BI Service architecture (workspaces, apps, refresh schedules)

- Visualization design best practices with attention to UI/UX

- Embedding Power BI reports in Power Apps or web

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good to Have :

- Experience with Power Platform tools: Power Apps, Power Automate

- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric

- Exposure to MS BI tools and SSRS
