Position Summary: We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years' experience required to meet the needs of our expanding portfolio of automotive compliance suite. What will you do: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will: Collaborate with stakeholders/product owners to understand and refine data processing requirements.
Participate in project teams as a hands-on developer to design, code, test and implement solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions.
Implement data security and protection measures.
Troubleshoot issues with existing data structures and systems.
Build tools and frameworks to improve internal productivity.
Use established testing procedures to ensure thorough testing of applications.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Work with AWS technologies and agile methodologies like Git Lab CI/CD, Docker, Terraform.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field.
5+ years’ experience building large scale data applications using Python.
Working knowledge of AWS technologies and/or Serverless architectures
Fundamental knowledge of Dev Ops pipelines in Teamcity/ Git Lab/ Azure
Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written.
Ability to work in team-oriented environment and can work independently.
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience working in an Agile Development environment is preferred.
The following experience would be advantageous:
Source control and code reviews using Git/Git Lab
Experience with docker, terraform etc is a plus
Machine learning/Data Science experience
Code quality tools like Sonar and Mend
