Calix is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team.
We are focusing on implementing automation and quality early in the development process.
We are creating a new team, with the goal of establishing standards for test planning, biasing towards automation and to establish best practices and improve the quality of our products and to delight our customers.
Responsibilities and Duties: Design and develop testing frameworks for ETL/Big Data pipelines Develop automated test scripts using Python/Go Lang Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements Test data integration, migration, and synchronization processes Ensure data quality, integrity, and security Work with cloud-based technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP)Experience with database management systems (relational/No SQL)Familiarity with microservices architecture and Kubernetes Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, ELT, Spark)Develop and maintain testing documentation Qualifications:8-12 years of experience in ETL/Big Data testing Strong expertise in Python/Go Lang programming languages Experience with Cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)Knowledge of database management systems (relational/No SQL)Experience with microservices architecture and Kubernetes Strong understanding of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, ELT, Spark)Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Telecom Experience is a plus.
