•Solution Architecture: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and design scalable and high-performance solutions for OTT applications.

Ensure that the architecture aligns with business objectives and adheres to industry best practices.

Frontend and Backend Development: Lead the development of frontend and backend components for OTT applications across various platforms, including Android, Smart TV (using HTML TV apps), React JS, Node JS, PHP for TV development (web OS, Zeasn, Vidaa, Samsung, LG, Tizen OS, Net Range), and Roku.

Test Automation: Design and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy using Cucumber, Appium, Selenium, Gherkin, Ruby, Java, and Java Script.

Develop automated test scripts for frontend and backend functionalities and ensure thorough test coverage.

API Integration: Work closely with backend developers to design and integrate APIs, enabling seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.

CMS and SMS Integration: Integrate Content Management Systems (CMS) to manage content delivery and Subscriber Management Systems (SMS) for user authentication and management in OTT applications.

Consumption of REST Services: Develop frontend components to consume RESTful services for data retrieval and updates.

Handle error responses, retries, and caching mechanisms for optimized data exchange.

Algorithms and Data Structures: Apply strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures to optimize application performance and efficiency.

Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and present architectural proposals.

Frameworks and Libraries: Utilize relevant frameworks and libraries to expedite development while maintaining code quality and best practices.

Streaming Technologies: Implement and configure streaming technologies and players for video and audio content delivery.

Ensure adaptive streaming and DRM support for secure content distribution.

Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring a smooth development lifecycle.

Certifications and App Store Upload: Stay updated with certifications from Google and other OEMs and ensure adherence to platform-specific guidelines.

Facilitate the successful upload of applications to Play Store, App Store, and other relevant platforms.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with development and QA teams to address defects and ensure application stability.

Research and Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: Must-Have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with expertise in OTT applications frontend and backend development and testing.

Strong proficiency in Android, Kotlin, Smart TV development using HTML TV apps, React JS, Node JS, PHP for TV development (web OS, Zeasn, Vidaa, Samsung, LG, Tizen OS, Net Range), and Roku development.

In-depth knowledge of test automation using Cucumber, Appium, Selenium, Gherkin, Ruby, Java, and Java Script.

Familiarity with APIs, CMS, SMS, and backend development tools and technologies.

Demonstrated experience in architecting and designing scalable and high-performance applications.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make critical technical decisions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Understanding of CI/CD processes and their implementation.

Experience with cloud-based architectures, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Previous work in the media and entertainment industry, particularly with OTT platforms.
