As a member of an internationalteam working on automation, electrification and digitalization solutions, andwithin an editorial team, your responsibility is to produce technicaldocumentation of one or more products, with the Siemens Energy quality.

Duringyour day you’ll process technical documents using CCMS or Latex-basedsolutions.

You will handle all the inherent complexities of a such systems,creating and updating document type definitions and style templates, based on SE guidelines.

You will apply information architectures and standards tofacilitate information transfers from knowledge bases and ensure high reuse oftemplates and content.

Most of the times you’ll see yourself crafting andmaintaining documents, by constantly creating, importing, updating, revisingand organizing the technical content, and tailoring each document to the targetaudience.

For that you’ll adopt a highly efficient workflow, leveraging the CCMS capabilities, using AI tools for quick reviews and improvements, applyinginternational standards, as well as your customer-oriented writing skills andtechnical expertise for the perfect final touch, eventually consultingtechnical experts for accuracy.

All of that for documents in paper-based andonline formats.

Documentation is becoming modern and interactive, so you willplay an important role ensuring the best user experience for our customers andend users in all media formats.oriented: Ensure all technical documents (paper-based and digital based) ofone or more products are reader-friendly, tailored to the target audience and deliveredon time Document quality inspection: Ensure standards are enforced by the technical writers Enforce guidelines: user journey, language style, multimedia andinteractivity Enforce company-defined document structures and style templates Manage editorial processes with all stakeholders: Reviews with authors versioning and publishing, with publishers translation packages with providers archiving CCMS / Latex specialist: handles all the complexities in editorialworkflows Improve documentation standards and processes with the editorialteam: Support product teams to improve current documentation practices Editorial process or workflows Revise the information architecture of knowledge repositories forincreased efficiency in content transfers Improve efficiency of workflows to import content from knowledgebases to a CCMS, Latex and other similar tools integrations to other tools for increased automation of theinformation flow Implement CCMS or Latex based editorial solutions Revise document type definitions and style templates in editorialtools Define requirements for media creation with other specialists:image, videos, interactive content Facilitate contact of technical editors with authors, subjectmatter experts, and other stakeholders for clarifying and addressing content-related issues.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds: University degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or similareducation Minimum of 3 years managing technical documentation and longexperience as a technical writer Proven writing and editing skills in English Customer and end user oriented: notions of User Experience andbest practices for technical content media (paper and digital).

Familiarity with style guidelines and document type definitions,and experience implementing them in editorial tools, for paper and online formats Technical knowledge and experience in tools: CCMS solutions such as COSIMA and Schema ST4 Latex solutions XML-based architectures and Markup languages (XML, DITA, or Markdown) Version control systems such as Git Knowledge and experience using documentation related standards: ISO/IEC/IEEE 26511, IEC/IEEE 26514, ISO/IEC 82079-1, ISO/IEC18019, ASD-STE100 (Simplified Technical English)CCMS standards such as ISO/IEC 26531 Preferable experienced in technical domains: automation systems,software development Experience working in international development teams Experience working in agile environments and good knowledge ofagile processes Experience with task management and tools (Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Asana)Personal: Highly organized and systematic, be able to handle multipleprojects Ability to handle complexity Communicative, collaborative, team player Ability to give constructive criticism.
