BMC is looking for a talented SQA Engineer to join our family working on complex and distributed software, developing automated tests, executing test plans, and assisting the firm in assuring product quality. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: ·Apply cloud (AWS, OCI, Azure, GCP, BMCIT) computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes.
·Design, develop, and implement software integrations based on user feedback.
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
Optimize the company’s computing architecture.
Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: Your technical experience (QA and Dev Ops) in testing.
You have knowledge of AWS Services like Lambda, EC2, etc, Python, API, Node JS, Jenkins, Elastic Search, Kibana (or any other data visualization tool).
You worked on complex distributed systems.
You worked with technologies such as K8 S, Dockers, various databases, API’s, Git and bitbucket.
You have a test-oriented thinking with attention to details.
You are a people-oriented team player that holds a proactive approach and ability to solve complex problems. You have effective communication and collaboration skills.
Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills: ·CI/CD environment with popular Dev Ops tools.
·Test Automation experience, Scripting skills (preferably Robot Framework, Python etc.) Performance testing (Scalability, benchmarking, Load) frameworks, such as JMeter, etc.
