Skill & Experience needed for Sr. Developer / Lead Developer role
Mandatory Skills:
- Angular &. Net Experience preferred (2-3 Years)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in full stack development with proven experience leading technical teams and projects
- Strong proficiency in modern Java Script/Type Script and at least one major frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Extensive backend development experience with Node.js, Python, PHP or Java

Necessary Technical Skills:
- Version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks
- Understanding of scalable system design and performance optimization
- Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures
- Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
Value-Add Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working with NHS systems or healthcare solutions
- Knowledge of NHS Digital standards and integration patterns
- Experience with NHS Spine or NHS API platforms
- Understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical processes
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Familiarity with UK healthcare compliance requirements

- Experience in sprint planning, estimation, and velocity tracking
- Demonstrated ability to break down complex technical requirements into manageable user stories
- Proven track record of collaborating with Product Owners to refine product backlog
- Experience in technical debt management and prioritization
- Ability to facilitate technical grooming sessions and sprint retrospectives
- Understanding of product roadmap development and alignment with technical architecture
Product Development Skills:
- Experience with product discovery and validation techniques
- Understanding of value stream mapping and lean product development
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation aligned with product specifications
- Experience with story mapping and MVP (Minimum Viable Product) development
- Proficiency in using Agile project management tools (Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar)
