Job Summary
The Specialist HR (Payroll) is responsible for managing and executing all payroll processing
and compensation and benefits (C&B) related activities, and ensuring compliance with
statutory regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of HR policies, procedures,
and labor laws. The incumbent will be instrumental in maintaining accurate employee data,
processing timely and accurate payroll, and administering various benefits programs.
Key Responsibilities
∙Payroll Processing:
o Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
o Maintain employee payroll records and reconcile discrepancies.
o Manage payroll deductions, taxes, and statutory remittances.
o Generate various payroll reports for management and statutory requirements.
o Stay updated on payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
o Implement policies and procedures for timekeeping and leave management.
∙Statutory Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, regulations, and statutory
requirements.
o Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
o Prepare and submit statutory reports and returns.
o Handle labour-related audits and inspections.
Qualifications and Experience
∙Masters degree in human resources (MBA-HR)
∙Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
∙Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory requirements.
∙Proficiency in HRMS systems and payroll software.
∙Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
∙Attention to detail and accuracy.
∙Strong organizational and time management skills.
∙Ability to handle confidential information.
