We are looking for an experienced Autosar Architect to join our team in the automotive domain.
- The ideal candidate will have over 13 years of expertise in AUTOSAR architecture, BSW (Basic Software), MCAL (Microcontroller Abstraction Layer), and related automotive software components.
- This role requires a deep understanding of embedded systems, vehicle communication protocols, and diagnostic frameworks, along with hands-on experience in configuring and developing complex software solutions for automotive applications.
Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement Autosar-based software architecture for automotive ECUs (Electronic Control Units), ensuring scalability, robustness, and performance.
- Lead the configuration of AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules, including services like Memory Services, Communication Services, ECU State Manager, and more.
- Configure MCAL (Microcontroller Abstraction Layer) modules, ensuring proper integration with automotive hardware.
- Expertise in configuring CAN stack and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Flex Ray, Ethernet).
- Manage and lead the configuration and integration of diagnostic framework modules such as DEM (Diagnostic Event Manager), DCM (Diagnostic Communication Manager), and other diagnostic services.
- Design and implement multi-tasking and multi-threading applications for embedded automotive systems.
- Ensure that the software architecture supports parallelism and real-time operation while maintaining system stability and performance.
- Utilize industry-standard tools such as Vector Da Vinci Configurator, Vector Da Vinci Developer, and Tresos for the configuration of AUTOSAR BSW, MCAL, and application layers.
- Use ECU Spectrum for ECU software configuration and management.
- Develop, integrate, and test software components (e.g., CDD - Complex Device Drivers) with AUTOSAR architecture.
- Ensure the seamless integration of hardware and software components, meeting functional and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure correct mapping of software components to the microcontroller hardware.
- Act as the technical expert in client-facing discussions, understanding customer requirements and providing technical guidance and recommendations.
- Lead and manage technical discussions with customers to gather requirements, provide project updates, and resolve technical issues.
- Present technical solutions and product capabilities to customers and stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of the proposed solution.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (design documents, interface specifications, test reports) to ensure clarity and compliance with customer needs.
Key Qualifications & Skills : - 13-16 years of experience in the automotive software domain, with at least 8 years of hands-on experience working with AUTOSAR-based systems.
- Strong experience in AUTOSAR BSW (Basic Software), MCAL (Microcontroller Abstraction Layer), and communication stacks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Expertise in configuring diagnostic services like DEM and DCM.
- Experience in the design and development of multi-tasking, multi-threaded applications for embedded systems.
- Proven experience in integrating CDDs (Complex Device Drivers) with AUTOSAR.
