As a staff writer/ correspondent at our media company, you will -
Detailed research in the field of business & economy, startup economy & geo-politics affecting the business world and financial landscape of India.
Create content in the form of articles, blogs, videos, and newsletters (Daily/ weekly) for various platforms.



We are creating a founding team of editors who will write in-depth, well-researched explanations on topics such as Business, Economy, Finance, and world events but stay away from politics, religion, and breaking news.




You are an experienced executive in business/financial journalism with the hunger to dig out insights that the users should know & is beneficial for them. He/she should be smart enough to bring good research & data behind every piece of content delivered.




Job responsibilities:-



Write & proofread original articles on the business & economy & take out 2-3 new topics every week (For Youtube, short videos for Instagram)
Research: Interviewing people from all sides of the story, reading research papers, finding official reports from reliable sources, etc.
Drafting the inside scoop. This means news or stories you can’t find anywhere else on the Internet
Prepare weekly/daily newsletter for the users
Understand the metrics on the social posts, newsletters, and blogs & understand what works moving forward
Hiring staff writers & editors with the aim to increase quality journalism & video content production
Converting the story into a visual piece for the video production team
Assessing leads and pitching captivating story ideas to editors
Keeping up-to-date on the latest news developments in ed-tech by attending events, and studying different papers, opinion pieces, and social media.
