Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Content Specialist to craft engaging content for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate must be passionate about digital storytelling, has a deep understanding of social media trends, and should know how to write compelling posts that drive engagement, conversions, and community growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and publish high-quality content tailored for various social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, AMC website, 3rd party digital Platforms etc..).
Collaborate with the social media Agency to develop content calendars that align with marketing goals and brand voice.
Create copy for posts, captions, stories, and ads that resonate with target audiences.
Research and integrate trending topics, hashtags, and social media best practices.
Collaborate with designers and video editors to ensure copy and visuals align seamlessly.
Monitor engagement metrics and adjust content strategies accordingly.
Maintain consistency in brand voice and tone across all social media platforms.
Assist in developing content ideas for campaigns, contests, and interactive posts.
Stay updated on the latest social media trends and emerging platforms.
Qualifications/Skills:
Master’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of experience writing for social media or digital marketing.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proven experience crafting content that drives engagement and community growth.
Familiarity with social media management tools
Basic understanding of SEO and keyword integration for social media.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Creative thinker with excellent attention to detail.
Experience with social media analytics and performance measurement is a plus.
Preferences:
Experience writing for multiple stakeholders or niche audiences.
Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
