India is an important market for the company, contributing significantly to their global revenue, employing more than 200 employees across 5 manufacturing sites.
As they are growing, we are looking to hire a Country Director who will spearhead operations , focusing on driving substantial sales growth while effectively managing all essential functions, including operations, finance, and marketing. The ideal candidate will bring a robust sales background and a nuanced understanding of integrating diverse business functions to fulfil organisational objectives.

Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight across all functions—sales, operations, finance, and marketing—to ensure cohesive execution of organisational objectives.
Strategic Sales Development: Craft and execute comprehensive sales strategies that facilitate significant market penetration and sustainable growth in competitive landscapes.
Financial Stewardship (P&L Management): Maintain rigorous oversight of the Profit and Loss statement for India operations, driving financial performance, budget adherence. Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining operational effectiveness and profitability.
Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency by implementing best practices, streamlining processes, and optimising resource allocation across business units to drive performance.
Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate operational risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies across all business functions.
Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
Innovative Mindset: Exhibit an entrepreneurial approach to identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities while adeptly navigating challenges and driving transformative change.
Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
15+ years of experience in a leadership role with a strong sales focus, including at least 5 years in a management capacity overseeing sales teams and other business functions such as operations, finance, and marketing.
Proven success in achieving sales targets and managing P&L.
Experience managing large teams (minimum 100 people indirectly)
Demonstrated strategic insight in driving market growth and operational efficiency.
