You will play a key role in supporting the finance department by performing various financial functions, including the review and preparation of financial statements, management reporting, and audit handling.

Accounting, Records and Reporting • Ensure accuracy and completeness in financial statements.

• Provide reports on financial performance, emphasizing key insights and trends.

• Use Financial tools for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.

• Maintain basic accounting records • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Audit • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.

• Meet all audit requirements, providing necessary documentation and information to auditors.

• Address queries from auditors and ensure timely audit closures • Implement audit recommendations and maintain compliance with audit standards.

Banking • Monitor and manage bank transactions, ensuring accurate recording.

• Handle queries related to banking transactions and liaise with the bank as needed.

Compliance • Maintain a compliance calendar and assist in compliance filings for group entities.

• Handle filings for TDS, PF, Professional Taxes, GST Returns, and Annual filings.

• Assist in VAT Returns & Filings and corporate tax submissions for Dubai and the US.

Payable • Process reimbursements and handle petty cash accounting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional managers on expense provisioning and month-end closures.

• Process vendor payments and prepare weekly payment summaries.

• Maintain utilities and payments calendar.

Receivables • Follow up on vendor invoices.

• Manage accounts receivable (AR) by following up and raising periodic invoices, managing collections, and maintaining a revenue tracker.

Other Tasks • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.

• Assist in special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as required.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Proven experience in finance functions, financial statement review, and MIS preparation.

• Hands-on experience in handling audits.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and payment processing.

• Proficiency in MS Office- Excel, Word & PPT • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Relevant experience in GAAP, IFRS & Accounting standards.
