Key Responsibilities : Budgeting and AOP (Annual Operating Plan):
Oversee the budgeting process for live business segments, including contract farming, breeding and hatchery operations
Develop, monitor, and update the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to ensure alignment with business goals Forecasting:
Lead the financial forecasting process by incorporating market trends, cost variables, and business performance indicators
Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts to support decision-making Costing analysis:
Conduct detailed cost analyses of financial reports, focusing on feed costs, bird counts, and production expenses
Evaluate and recommend strategic decisions based on cost-benefit analysie, such as whether to increase production or sell in the market Strategic decision-making:
Analyse and understand key business metrics, such as feed cost increases, inventory levels and asset utilisation
Prepare "what-if" scenarios and provide actionable recommendations to optimise business performance Month-end closing:
Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate product costing and financial mapping
Review and reconcile financial statements to ensure compliance with company policies Team leadership:
Manage and mentor the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Conduct regular reviews to ensure the team meets objectives and maintains high standards. Stakeholder management:
Act as a business partner for live business operations, working closely with other departments to achieve financial objectives
Ensure effective communication and alignment with key stakeholders, including senior management and external partners Governance and controls:
Ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies, maintaining strong governance, and control measures
Drive the implementation of financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance Digitization and dashboard management:
Lead the digitisation of financial processes and the adoption of financial dashboards to improve decision-making and efficiency
Leverage technology to enhance financial reporting and data analytics Who are we looking for?Education : ICWA or CA with relevant experience Experience : Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a business finance role, preferably in the agriculture, animal husbandry, or FMCG industry Skills : Strong leadership analytical
