MUFG Global Service Private Limited:

Established in 2020, MUFG Global Service Private Limited (MGS) is 100% subsidiary of MUFG having offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai. MGS India has been set up as a Global Capability Centre / Centre of Excellence to provide support services across various functions such as IT, KYC/ AML, Credit, Operations etc. to MUFG Bank offices globally. MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFG’s global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific


Job duties & responsibilities:

  • Manage entity wide TPRM program including developing and managing end to end TPRM lifecycle, scope and timelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align the TPRM with business requirements and to execute the deliverables.
  • Lead updates to stakeholders on the progress of implementation of TPRM requirements.
  • Maintain third party risk management framework and SOP by regularly updating SOP, frameworks etc
  • Monitor and report third party risks to risk management forum.
  • Design and conduct training and provide advisory guidance to staff, business teams on TPRM requirements.
  • Review and challenge due diligence and risk assessment reports on their party arrangements.
  • Conduct independent assessments and monitoring of operational risk by reviewing operational risk metrics (risk events, risk & control self-assessment results, key risk indicators etc) and assessing if there are systemic/thematic risk concerns that warrant deeper analysis and escalation to senior management.
  • Design and implement system enhancements to support TPRM requirements and continuously improve existing system functions and controls.
  • Support audit requirements in conjunction with lines of business & support functions.
  • Support the implementation of third-party tools as necessary.
  • Review onboarding/periodic vendor due diligence which includes performance, operational, internal controls, security, business continuity management and onsite visits of vendor’s premises.
  • Support the wider Enterprise risk management and controls matters, including but not limited to risk and control self-assessments, root-cause analysis of operational incident, risk reporting.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) policies, guidelines are adhered to. Provide recommendations wherever necessary.
  • Process improvements to drive operational efficiency and adoption of industry best practices. Develop, maintain, and improve risk monitoring and reporting tools and systems.
  • Conduct trainings to raise awareness.


Candidate Profile:

  • Banking GCC TPRM experience is an essential requirement.
  • Strategic thinking that focuses on developing innovative solutions to optimize execution approaches while maintaining efficiency.
  • Highly collaborative with an ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within the department and with stakeholders across the lines of defense.
  • Ability to manage complexity, effectively prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in non-routine situations and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skill, effective problem solving, conceptual thinking.
  • 12+ years of experience in Third-party risk management.
