Position Title: DGM/GM – Innovation and Strategy
Location: Pune
Job Summary
Develop the innovation and growth agenda at an enterprise level to shape and enhance KPDL’s competitive advantage
Spearhead and execute the existing and emergent initiatives to enhance organization's capability to pursue its goals
Driving corporate strategy by assisting the management team in their inorganic and organic growth initiatives
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Innovation Focus
Perform an in-depth research on real estate market landscape - market research and analysis of segments, competition, products, offerings, technology - to understand trends and opportunities
Compare KPDL and real estate market dynamics to identify growth opportunities or threats
Review Industry benchmarks and plan initiatives to ensure KPDL’s competitiveness with respect to Cost, Quality, People, Process and Technology
Analyze the outcomes of audit of business processes across functions and perform an internal capability assessment on people, processes and technology
Develop an Innovation roadmap to support KPDL growth efforts, delivery, innovation and expansion
Perform a high level financial and strategic analysis of new innovation propositions
Prioritize the solutions in terms of need and their business potential
Monitor implementation of strategic initiatives to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
Establish the company’s technical vision and leads all aspects of the company’s technological development
Conducts research and case studies on leading edge technologies and makes determinations on the probability of implementation
Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
Directs the company’s strategic direction, development and future growth towards digitization.
Strategic Focus
Provide support in the development and implementation of strategic business plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization
Work with the business development team to build the KPDL brand in the form of strategic partnerships/co-branding initiatives with financial institutions and partners
Support the new LOB assessment and evaluation to create new growth opportunities and expand KPDL share
Identify acquisition and merger opportunities, seek management council’s approval on identified inorganic growth opportunities
Communicate the business threats/risks to the CEO/Board and recommend the board on measures to tackle the risks
Identify potential risks for the function in face of KPDL pursuing a rapid growth strategy and develop a risk mitigation strategy
People Focus
Responsible for people management activities for direct reports - determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing policies and procedures;
Recruitment, training and appraisal of the employees
Responsible to counsel and retain the top/ critical talent and keep the attrition rate low
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture or related field
An advanced degree in Business/Management/Finance/ Management or a related field is strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with desired experience in real estate industry or related field
Leadership Competencies and Skills
An excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing is essential.
Excellent customer service and analytical skills are necessary as is a personality that pays attention to details
Must exhibit initiative and a strong desire to achieve results.
