Job DescriptionClient Finance EPM consultant Leading end-to-end implementations of Client EPM for as part of Global Design project, managing key stakeholders, leading workshops, developing functional and technical specifications, and leading implementation vendor teams.Responsibilities Primary responsibility is to implement EPM products across Client and work closely with end users to understand their processes and requirements and communicate business needs to stakeholders. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Client EPM implementation, customization, and upgrades. Develop and maintain Client EPM models, reports, and dashboards using Client EPM tools such as FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS and EPBCSS. Design, develop, and implement Client EPM solutions and integrations with other enterprise systems. Primary Requirements Knowledge in Controllership processes including technical accounting (GAAP/IFRS Accounting standards), accounting operations, month end close, consolidations, and reporting. Strong functional understanding of Financial Planning and Budgeting, Consolidation and Reconciliation with experience in Business Process redesign or transformation Experience with intercompany eliminations, Financial close cycle, and best practices Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, document requirements and articulate the value proposition and business case for Finance solutions. Ability to look at functional designs and requirement documents in EPM domain and converting them to detailed technical design (TDD) Understanding of foreign currency translations and currency effect Experience creating consolidated financial statements for public and private companies. Hands on experience in building application artifacts (Configuring Dimensions, creating data forms/business rules/calculations, EPM Automate scripts etc.) Hands-on experience with technical deployment and configuration for e.g. metadata/cube design, application tuning/optimization, predictive planning, calculation scripts, groovy, web forms, reports, dashboards, SmartView reporting, valid intersections, navigation flows, data maps, application security, data management Hands on experience in implementation of EDMCS including COA maintenance, alternative hierarchy, setting up workflows and building dash boards etc. Review/confirm Metadata Management change and new request workflow to assure the processes are aligned to go-forward requirements and exceed existing standards. Support validation of all metadata loaded into EDM application. Automations using EPM Automate. Load of dimensions to Cloud Planning. Up to one script per dimension will be created to export from EDM and push the dimension into the target Planning application. Hands on experience working with ARCS implementation to set up reconciliation methods, generate reports and build dash boards etc. Review/confirm Reconciliation profiles to ensure alignment to go-forward reconciliation requirements and meet current standards. Develop reconciliation models utilizing ARC’s reconciliation methods. Skills and Qualifications: Relevant Client EPM experience of 6 to 8 years or more as consultant, solution architect or subject matter expert in the EPM domain at a consultancy or customer.
