We are hiring Assistant Manager Tender & QS for a leading Construction Company Overview The Assistant Manager Tender & QS plays a crucial role in overseeing the tendering process and quantity surveying activities.

This position is integral to ensuring efficient project coordination cost control and contract negotiation.

The role is based in Nungambakkam and is essential for the successful of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities Manage the endtoend tendering process for construction projects Conduct quantity surveying to estimate and monitor project costs Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate quantity takeoffs Assist in defining project scopes and preparing tender documents Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms Review and analyze project budgets to control costs effectively Prepare and submit accurate and timely tender proposals Provide support in evaluating project variations and cost implications Monitor and report on project financial performance and risks Assist in resolving commercial issues and disputes Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities Participate in the development and improvement of tendering strategies Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Support senior management in other related tasks as required Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or related field Proven experience in tender management and quantity surveying Demonstrated knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes Strong proficiency in project cost control and budget management Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to analyze complex data and provide meaningful insights Proficiency in relevant software applications like MS Excel Auto CAD and estimating tools Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment Sound understanding of construction industry practices and standards Proactive attitude with a focus on problemsolving and decisionmaking Team player with the ability to collaborate across different functions Relevant professional certifications (e.g.

RICS CIOB) will be an advantage Flexibility to travel as needed for project requirements Strong ethical conduct and integrity in all aspects of work Work Location : Nungambakkam Chennai.
