Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) HRMS and Oracle HCM Cloud modules, with extensive hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This individual will work closely with clients to design, implement, and optimize HCM solutions, ensuring seamless integration and technical functionality across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation & Configuration: Lead and manage the implementation, configuration, and customization of Oracle EBS HRMS and Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, including core HR, payroll, talent management, benefits, and other related modules.
Integration Development: Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and other enterprise applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Customization & Extension: Provide expertise in customizing Oracle HCM Cloud and EBS HRMS functionalities to meet business requirements, ensuring compliance and optimization.
Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle HCM solutions, guiding internal teams and clients through technical challenges and best practices.
Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to gather requirements, provide solutions, and deliver technical support. Ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs.
Testing & Troubleshooting: Manage testing phases, perform debugging, and ensure the successful deployment of solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the HCM and integration platforms.
Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including functional specifications, integration details, and design documents.
Training & Support: Provide technical training to clients and internal teams. Offer ongoing support for system issues and enhancements post-implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 7 years of total experience working with Oracle technologies, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS HRMS and Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
Oracle HCM Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the following Oracle HCM modules:
Oracle Core HR
Oracle Payroll
Oracle Self-Service HR
Oracle Talent Management
Oracle Compensation and Benefits
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC): Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud for designing and implementing integrations with both on-premise and cloud-based applications.
Technical Proficiency: Strong programming and technical skills in Oracle tools, including but not limited to:
PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle Workflow
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for building integrations (REST, SOAP, etc.)
Web services (SOAP/REST) and API integrations
Fast Formulas, BPEL, and SOA Suite
Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of HCM processes, workflows, and how to optimize the Oracle HCM modules to fit client business processes.
Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management: Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Oracle HCM Cloud certifications (preferred but not required).
Experience with Other Oracle Modules: Exposure to other Oracle applications or modules (Financials, SCM) would be beneficial.
Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
