Business Analyst – Job Description Position Description The charter of this team is to provide business analysis support for the different platforms and products to help drive the requirements, execution of the technical redesign and strategy of the platform to meet the goals of the business and delivery/implementation.
Responsibilities:- Technical and functional analysis of platforms/applications and documentation of current state and to-be state- Extensive coordination and collaboration for gathering requirements and technical details with key stakeholder across different teams (development, architecture, QA and SMEs)- Communicate effectively - both verbally and written - to peers, business, and technology partners to include strong questioning and listening skills and the ability to look beyond obvious answers to understand impacts.- Gather and analyze requirements.
Organize and document business needs to enable design and development, including elicitation and documentation of current state and future state workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping and UI wireframes.- Elicit and document processes and procedures, as well as partner in preparing training and adoption materials- Lead and influence cross-functional teams.- Extensive follow-ups and proactive communications with team members to get the required details for ensuring on-time deliveries- Developing technical solutions to business problems and requirements begins with defining, analyzing, and documenting requirements.
Managing requirements at the project level can help fulfill business needs- Build out of a knowledge repository detailing the entire business solution architecture and application ecosystem Requirements:- Must have experience working on large scale projects- Demonstrate fluency in business processes and process differentiation- Exposure to Agile is a Must- Solid Wealth Management / Investment Management background (Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office Activities)- Must understand Financial Data- Solid Data analysis – Must have proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel- Well defined and structured individual who can document, track and work on Functional, Technical and Data requirements seamlessly with minimum supervision- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Wealth Management Back Office experience- Experience in agile, for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile project teams.
