The primary responsibility involves close coordination with Zonal BIM managers, understand project delivery schedules, monitor preconstruction progress through BIM, coordination with external and internal stakeholders, delay analysis, MIS reporting, process standardization, exploring and implementing further technological advancements for maximizing usage of BIM within the organization. Strategic / Leadership
Review standard BIM execution plan, BIM Goals and uses, BIM responsibility matrix for various zones.
Monitor BIM deliverables and timelines for projects by obtaining timely inputs from Zonal BIM managers.
Flag constraints and clear bottlenecks in a timely manner
Guide Zonal BIM managers in solving technical issues related to BIM
Report on the company’s current and projected state in regard to BIM implementation
Create and lead deployment strategies for the BIM implementation effort. Software/Technology
Manage software products including but not limited to incorporating new version releases, maintaining legacy software and customizing software for specific organizational needs
Oversee BIM software organization-wide, including installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting all BIM installations
Manage the implementation of supporting software and plug-ins for BIM Evaluate new BIM related software and technologies
Stay informed on best practices for use of Revit, Auto CAD, and BIM
Evaluate and implement further automations using dynamo/ python or any other established software tools. Processes Adherence / Improvement
Responsible for BIM standards development/review, implementation, and enforcement
Creation and maintenance of the template files to assure standards
Automate routines in BIM to support standards and productivity
Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all shop drawings produced
Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards
Train and oversee the day-to-day activities of BIM managers to ensure BIM standards are maintained in the creation of BIM models Who are we looking for?Education:
Applicant should be B. Tech with 17-22 years relevant experience of managing building projects with knowledge of BIM setup & workflow (Execution plan, goals and uses, responsibility matrix, quality control), collaboration, technical coordination and deliverable production.
Familiar with ASMEP Design, Design development and Site execution
Experience in residential project is preferable.
Hands-on knowledge of Autocad, REVIT, Navisworks, and/or equivalent 3 D, 4 D and 5 D software is essential.
Minimum 8 years working experience on BIM360/ ACC
Conversant with UK and Singapore BIM standards Experience:
Should have handled team of 4 to 10 BIM Managers
Must be versed in local industry BIM initiatives and internationally recognized BIM initiatives, standards, protocols and mandates like BS1192 and ISO19650
General knowledge of integrated architectural and engineering practice
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Should have a thorough grasp of engineering modelling principles.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills
Must have good communications and interpersonal skills
Ability to set priorities in an efficient and timely manner to meet essential job functions.
Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be a self-starter. Skills:
