What will you be doingDeliver on critical business priorities while evolving platform towards it's strategic visionWork closely with product managers, end users, business analysts to understand business objectives and key success measures Partner with technology teams to design and architect solutions that align to Barclays Architecture, Data and Security standards, while utilizing best-of-breed technologyDevelop and test resilient, scalable, and reusable services and APIs utilizing latest frameworks and libraries while adhering to development standardsImplement automated build, test and deployment pipelines utilizing latest DevOps toolsProactively create and manage relevant application documentation Participate in Scrum ceremonies and conduct sprint demos for stakeholdersProactively manage application health and platform stability by reviewing technical debt, operational risks and vulnerabilitiesDefine metrics and instrument measurement and monitoring of production environment to ensure that application meet Service Level Objectives Work alongside production support teams(RTB) to ensure health of production environment and address issuesEvaluate software and vendors and conduct proof-of-concept development using emerging technologiesWhat we're looking for:5+ years of hands-on coding skills with Java, Unix shell scripting, gherkins / Cucumber.Ability to develop and enhance java based test automation frameworks / familiar with one or more of the following frameworks: Junit, testNG, Selenium Web driver, Protractor, Page Object Model, Ranorex. Exposure to SQL and relation databases with few years of experience in this field. Must be able to write complex SQL, Performance optimization of SQL, views, stored procedures etc.Experience in using agile tools e.g. JIRA, Git, Team City, and Agile Central.
