If you have the drive to work in a flexible, fun, passionate Technology and Data team we would love to hear from you Purpose of the Job: As a Cloud Security Engineer, your mission will be to strengthen / maintain the security posture of our Cloud environments, ensuring they remain proportionately secure and compliant with industry best practice.

In this pivotal role, you will: Drive key strategic projects: Collaborate on critical initiatives that shape our organisations Cloud security landscape.

Architect security solutions: Design and implement robust security measures to protect our Cloud infrastructure.

Risk management: Identify, assess, and manage Cloud security risk effectively.

Application security collaboration: Explore opportunities to collaborate with our Software Engineering teams.

Cross-functional cooperation: Work closely with other teams to foster a collaborative and secure Cloud ecosystem.

Principal Accountabilities: Identify and manage security risk associated with our Cloud infrastructure and services.

Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.

Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data stored within Cloud environments.

Provide input and feedback on Cloud-based security architectures.

Build security solutions that embrace Dev Ops and CI/CD principles, such as Infrastructure as Code (Ia C).

Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering and Operations teams to evaluate and identify secure Cloud solutions.

Education, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Ability to troubleshoot and solve Cloud-related security issues independently.

Experience with Microsoft Azure.

Experience using CSPM and CNAPP tooling such as Wiz, Defender for Cloud Good understanding of container-based technologies.

Good understanding of Cloud networking fundamentals.

Experience deploying and managing Azure Policy as code.

Experience withprogramming and scripting languages; especially Terraform and YAML.

(Power Shell is also beneficial.) Knowledge of Anti-virus, Endpoint Detection and Response, Vulnerability Management, and Patching.

Knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).

Experience with CI tools, such as Azure Dev Opsor Git Hub Actions.

Experience of pipeline builds, release packaging and artefact management.

Experience of Enterprise-wide agile methodologies and practices.

Experience of developing Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform.

Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops principles and automated security testing.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to converse directly with non-technical stakeholders.
