As a Principal Scrum Master , you will: Lead the delivery of complex data engineering projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet business needs.

Own project timelines, manage risks, and resolve delivery bottlenecks to keep teams focused and productive.

Drive continuous improvement, optimizing team processes and leveraging Agile best practices.

Utilize data-driven metrics (e.g., cycle time, velocity) to monitor performance and demonstrate value delivery.

Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and innovation within the team.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Must-Have Experience: 3-5 years of experience in delivery management, particularly with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

Proven track record of managing cross-functional data engineering teams to deliver high-impact data solutions.

Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake), and data warehousing.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align project deliverables with strategic business goals.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Agile project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Azure Dev Ops.

Understanding of Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation in data projects.

Familiarity with data tools and platforms such as Snowflake, Apache Spark, Kafka, or similar technologies.

Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on removing impediments and delivering value.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist) are a plus.

Nice to Have: Experience in the retail industry, particularly within a global context.

Knowledge of Data Ops principles and practices.

Hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or similar technical role, providing deeper insight into team challenges.
