Primary Functions: Gather and transform large sets of raw data into well-built integrated data assets using SQL, AWS Glue or other emerging technologies.
Recommend, build, and monitor robust and extensible data models that capture business performance from a customer experience lens.
Identify and execute data quality testing along critical check points and surface data drift or data anomalies.
Maintain a high standard for accuracy of data and build automated processes to catch issues proactively and report.
Be the expert in critical customer experience data assets and maintain a catalog for reference.
Lean into developing visualizations in Tableau and occasionally support data science teams with exploratory data analysis and KPI development.
Validate and performance-tune complex SQL queries.
Train team members on SQL, AWS, and Tableau best practices WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS) Bachelors degree in computer science, data science, or engineering 3 years of experience.
Expert in writing Advance / Complex SQLqueries with strong experience in Python (Num Py & Pandas) and data processing tools such as Glue or SAS Proficient with Tableau or Power Bi (Must Have) for advanced visualization.
High attention to detail, solution-oriented and capable of meeting or exceeding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) Advanced knowledge of AWS analytics toolkit (e.g., Redshift, Sagemaker, Lambda etc.) Working knowledge of statistical/machine learning tools (e.g., R, scikit-learn) Prior experience with Delta or other airline or Hospitality data a plus Self-motivated and take pride in building great products for key stakeholders.
