How will I contribute to the business?.
The GCOE Data, Analytics & AI Lead is responsible for mobilizing GCOE capabilities to deliver the Data, Analytics & AI strategy.
This leader is a strategic partner in driving the creation and deployment of data assets / products, cognitive capabilities, and AI / Gen AI use cases that enable producers and consulting teams to provide market differentiating insights and thought leadership to clients and prospects.
Responsibilities in this role include : - Partner with the Data, Analytics & AI team to execute strategic priorities, including data ingestion and integration, creation of assets / products, and reporting capabilities.
- Drive data literacy within the GCOE and serve as an evangelist for the value of data and analytics including Gallagher Drive and other capabilities.
- Lead agile delivery of data, analytics & AI capabilities by the GCOE.
- Define, prioritize, and implement features and requirements based on stakeholder input, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
- Create and maintain the backlog of use cases, ensuring that it is well-groomed, prioritized, and aligned with the overall strategy.
- Lead work to implement a modern data and analytics platform, including data integration and development of data assets / products and Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Ensure application of data modeling, visualization, and user experience best practices.
- Lead GCOE data governance efforts, including data source mapping and data inventory.
- Lead data profiling and identify and analyze causes of data quality issues and lead implementation of resolutions.
- Communicate initiative status and partner with Data, Analytics, and AI leads to manage issues and risks.
- Identify, refine, and deliver AI / Gen AI abilities to drive efficiency, agility, and insights.
- Stay current with trends and best practices in data management, integration, and visualization.
- Train and mentor, the GCOE team, identify areas for improvement, and bring recommendations to GBS Data, Analytics & AI leadership.
- Technical capabilities such as Azure Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Collibra would be critical to this role and master data capabilities such as Informatica, Reltio etc.

Do I have what it takes to be considered?.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or related field.
- A master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience (10 years) in data management and data strategy roles.
- Knowledge of processes, benchmarks, metrics, and data for insurance, benefits, financial and retirement services, and human capital management.
- Experience implementing reporting and analytics, including benchmarking and self-service capabilities to improve cost and efficacy internally and for clients.
- Knowledge of data visualization and UI/UX principles, and experience implementing them in Power BI.
- Familiarity with Cloud data platforms and data ingestion/integration tools, data engineering and data management practices, data privacy and security.
- Understanding of AI / Gen AI and cognitive analytics concepts and experience is a huge plus.
- Experience delivering data products in an Agile environment, including workshop facilitation, use case identification, backlog management, requirements grooming, and delivery.
- Stakeholder and user engagement, alignment, and communication.
- Team management and mentorship.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA.
