Roles & Responsibilities: Collaborates with PD function data science experts to develop, deploy, and maintain predictive models to enable development portfolio acceleration.
Leverage advanced data analytics, multivariate analysis, first principle concepts, etc.
to analyze big datasets, draw insights, and recommend proactive actions.
Collaborates with business partners to develop novel ways to meet objectives utilizing cutting-edge techniques and tools.
Effectively communicate the analytics approach and how it will meet and address objectives to business partners.
Establish close collaboration with local GPS and IT functional data science and data engineering experts.
Collaborate with USA and Europe based PD team members and stakeholders.
Advocate and educate on the value of data-driven decision making focusing on the how and why of solving problems.
Share your passion for Data Science with the broader enterprise community; identify and develop long-term processes, frameworks, tools, methods, and standards.
Work hours that provide sufficient overlap with standard East Coast US working hours.
Key Skills and Competencies: Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, team-building, and communication skills to ensure effective collaborations within matrix teams.
Ability to work with diverse teams across organizational lines and structures.
Proven ability to explain complex analyses and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's or Master's degree in analytical, engineering, operations research, or a scientific discipline.
Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in a hands-on working environment in data analytics and data integration.
Hands-on experience with data science and analytics, modeling platforms, data engineering software, and visualization tools (e.g., Advanced SQL, PL/SQL, R, Python, SAP HANA, Spotfire, Tableau, Hadoop, Redshift).
Experience working with large datasets, data visualization tools, statistical software packages, and platforms (specifically R, Python, advanced SQL, Domino, AWS, Git Hub, dbt, Tableau).
Experience with biotech product development and/or is a significant plus.
Experience in the biopharma industry a plus.
