Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of vision engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Oversee the development of vision projects, focusing on object detection, segmentation, and classification.
- Design and develop advanced deep learning algorithms tailored for practical, real-world applications.
- Train models, optimise parameters, and evaluate performance metrics for diverse applications. Skills Required:
- In-depth expertise in deep learning methodologies, frameworks like Tensor Flow and/or Py Torch.
- Proven track record of working in Computer Vision with good hands on experience with Open CV, PIL, numpy, scikit, scikit-learn, etc..
- Strong programming skills in Python, C and/or C++, with a focus on real-world problem-solving.
- Strong knowledge of Camera, Lens and Lights selection for Industrial Vision Applications
- Good to have experience working with Edge platforms like NVIDIA Jetson, etc.
- Solid Software development experience with understanding of SDLC.
- Solid mathematical and statistical foundation for algorithm development and optimisation.
- Proficiency in data manipulation, feature engineering, and data visualisation for effective model development.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking skills applicable to diverse business challenges.
- Familiarity with deep learning techniques such as object detection, segmentation, and classification. Education Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph. D.) preferred with specialisation in relevant field.
