Role overview:
We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented CGI Artist to produce high-quality 2 D/3 D assets, including accurate and visually compelling models, textures, lighting setups. You’ll be responsible for producing polished 2 D/3 D asset content based client briefs and reviewing AI generated content on visual harmony or accuracy.
What does day-to-day look like::
Translate sketches, reference images into high-quality 2 D/3 D assets that align with Turings' creative standards and project objectives.
Develop accurate 3 D models based on 2 D artwork, ensuring fidelity to design intent throughout the modeling process.
Experience in the complete 2 D/3 D asset pipeline — from texturing and look development to lighting, rendering, and rigging — ensuring high-quality outputs.
Review AI-generated 2 D/3 D assets to check if they match the intended artistic style.
Define & apply evaluation criteria for 2 D/3 D assets across various thematic styles (e.g.2 D/3 D, Futuristic, Battle Royale, Felt Puppet, Claymation etc.)
Evaluate the consistent preservation of identity in 2 D/3 D content assessing attributes such as skin tone, gender, age, dynamic poses, body shape/size, and hair over time.
Define & Implement a systematic rating framework to ensure consistent evaluations of style expression and identity preservation across relevant attributes.
Provide detailed feedback on significant errors impacting visual harmony or accuracy
Based on your experience, you may be expected to oversee junior designers' creation and evaluation work, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 2 to 6 years of experience in CGI and 2 D/3 D design.
Proficiency in Blender, along with expertise in Maya, 2 D/3 Ds Max, Cinema 4 D or similar software/tools
Working knowledge of Photoshop for texturing or concept integration is a plus.
Solid understanding of traditional sculpting techniques and form development.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a creative team environment.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
