of IT Support Team Experience : 15 Years | Age Group : 40 Years Overview : This position will oversee and drive the technological vision for our company's drone operations, training centres, and after-sales support platforms.
This role demands expertise in software and hardware infrastructure, embedded systems, flight controller development, and cybersecurity, ensuring world-class IT capabilities.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing software platforms, hardware infrastructure, and embedded system solutions to support drone technology in defence, agriculture, and commercial applications.
This includes leading the integration of sophisticated systems with embedded electronics and flight controllers.
Key Responsibilities : IT Strategy & Leadership : - Define and implement the IT strategy aligned with the company's goals for drone development, operations, and after-sales support.
- Lead the design and integration of complex software and hardware solutions, with a focus on embedded systems and flight controllers for drones.
- Collaborate with internal departments (R&D, Engineering, Customer Service) and external partners to ensure the alignment of IT, embedded systems, and business strategies.
- Manage the IT team to ensure effective project delivery, performance standards, and continuous improvement.
Budget Management & Monitoring : Software Development & Integration : - Oversee the development of enterprise-level software solutions, including customer service management, e-commerce, and warranty systems.
- Develop and integrate APIs and software modules for flight controllers and embedded systems, ensuring real-time communication between drones and ground stations.
- Lead the integration of SAP-based CRM and ERP systems with new and existing drone management software platforms.
Embedded Systems & Flight Controllers Development : - Lead the design and development of embedded systems and flight control software for drones, ensuring optimal performance in real-time monitoring of drone health, predictive maintenance, and remote diagnostics.
- Oversee the integration of flight controllers with navigation systems, ground control stations, sensors, and advanced communication protocols & systems for drone operations.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to develop and maintain cutting-edge drone flight control systems, leveraging AI and machine learning for autonomous operations.
- Develop customer-facing platforms for reporting complaints, tracking drone health, and purchasing spare parts.
- Integrate these systems with SAP and CRM for a seamless after-sales service experience.
Hardware Architecture & Infrastructure : - Design and manage the company's hardware infrastructure, including server architecture, embedded systems, and communication networks.
- Ensure robust and secure IT infrastructure, compliantwith Mil stds and defence requirements.
- Oversee the procurement and installation of hardware for franchisee trainingcenters and global operations, including UPS systems, fire safety, and cooling systems.
Backup Management : Cloud & Data Management : - Lead and ensure the scalability and security of data related to drone operations, flight control systems, and customer interactions.
- Manage data analytics systemsto monitor drone performance, fleet management, and predictive maintenance.
- Implement containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to streamline deployment and scaling of embedded software and IT systems.
Cybersecurity & Compliance : - Develop and implement cybersecurity frameworks for embedded systems, flight controllers, and IT networks, adhering to defence regulations.
- Ensure compliance with global standards, including ISO 27001, DGCA regulations, and NATO cybersecurity guidelines.
- Establish disaster recovery protocols, backup systems, and secure communication channels for both IT and embedded systems.
IT Infrastructure for Training Franchisee Operations : - Design and manage the IT and embedded system platforms for global franchisee drone training centres, including drone maintenance, flight simulation, and training modules.
- Ensure the seamless integration of hardware and software systemsacross multiple geographic locations.
Project Management & Vendor Relations : - Lead complex IT and embedded systems projects, from concept to delivery, ensuringthey are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage relationships with key vendors, ensuring the procurement of hardware components (including servers, embedded systems, and flight controllers).
- Oversee the tendering process for IT and embedded system assets, including hardware, software, and networking solutions Team Development & Cross-Departmental Collaboration : - Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary IT team, fosteringinnovation and continuouslearning.
- Work closely with R&D, Engineering, and other teams to ensure seamlessintegration between IT infrastructure and embedded system solutions.

E/ B. Tech (CSC/IT/EE) / MBA-IT / MCA - Additional qualification requirement, if applicable : Certification in Salesforce - Certification requirements, if any : Certificate in Dot Net, MS SQL, IS) 27001 (ISMS) Experience : - No.
