What will you do?

Your first 30 days

  • You will go through a training period where you’ll work with a Tealbox veteran to understand and familiarize yourself with our processes.
  • You will be primarily trained on how we communicate and become champions for the service we provide.
  • You will need to become conversant with media buying practices Tealbox follows and reposition your business acumen to aid a digital-first strategy.
  • You will shadow and learn from a Senior Executive to see how they communicate orally and in writing.

Your next 60 days

  • You will work directly with a Senior Executive in Client Success.
  • You will be assigned your own portfolio of clients for whom you will be solely responsible.
  • This role will involve utilising project management skills to ensure that tasks, deliverables and success for the client is managed effectively.
  • It will be your responsibility to ensure that SLAs are met and SOPs are adhered to.
  • Work with brands to understand their business objectives and form a bridge between the client and the strategy team. To facilitate this, you will need to build expertise on media buying insights, crafting media plans, creative strategy and analytics.
  • You will need to build key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
  • You will be required to translate data into simple but not condescending communication for an audience composed of digital experts, novices and beginners.

The following 90 days

  • There’s a point where you would have fine tuned your skills and can start working increasing capacity.
  • You will start working on more diverse projects and accounts across geographies. The objective here is for you to scale vertically after building competence.
  • You will need to work closely with D2 C brands to understand their pain points, challenges, and goals in distribution and online presence. This will oftentimes involve transcending the digital ecosystem to allow our business partners to win.
  • You will work with the rest of the Tealbox team on interesting, intriguing problem statements and see its execution through from inception to execution.
  • Stay on course towards our relentless pursuit of perfection.


In short, you will be responsible for streamlining, strengthening and growing the revenue coming from your portfolio of clients.

Will I be responsible for bringing on new clients?

A:
Not at all. We have a dedicated business development team that will bring in interesting businesses to you. With that being said, happy customers bring other customers;
so in some sense you will be responsible for getting more referrals.

What will my day look like?

A:
It will be distributed between doing check-in calls with your team, the larger Tealbox team, responding to internal queries or taking queries to your peers to help you move forward with your work. We believe that work needs to be done when it needs to be done and trust our employees to work as individual contributors. However, we are mindful and empathetic to the fact that the usage of their time affects another.

Tealbox is a fundamentally flat organisation and being a lean team:
It is as core as it gets. You’re just as important as the co-founders and the young interns we bring in from time to time. Additionally, you will be directly responsible for the revenue of the company and will be at the centre of all things we do.

What kind of clients do you work with?

A:
We’re just as meticulous about the clients we work with as we are with hiring new people in our team. We work with businesses who are respectful of our time just as we are of theirs. Businesses we work with understand that we’re partners who are invested in their growth rather than viewing us as an offshore agency. These businesses could be from any global geography and any size (ranging from pre-revenue to listed entities).



Requirements & Qualifications:
1-2 years’ experience in communications or community management roles. We accept candidates with different experience but they will be considered freshers in most cases. Bringing the right kind of energy is something that is critical to this role;
you don't need to be perpetually excited or aggressively extroverted. You need to be empathetic in your communication, respectful to whomever you’re speaking to and easy to talk to. Experience working with complex businesses, fluency to work with data, being comfortable with code, leveraging AI tools to improve output, effective and mindful communication.
