About the Role:
We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist with strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure to drive end-to-end data science initiatives. This role will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning and AI models for real-world business problems
Design and implement scalable data science solutions using Azure cloud services
Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Build, optimize, and maintain ML pipelines and model lifecycle management (MLOps)
Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts
Ensure best practices in model performance, monitoring, and governance
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and cloud technologies
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI
Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages
Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse
Experience in building and deploying ML models at scale
Solid understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, NLP, or computer vision
Experience with MLOps frameworks and tools
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have:
Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or Agentic AI systems
Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow or Py Torch
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Scientist Associate)
Experience working in agile environments
