MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFGs global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific About the Role: Position Title: Surveillance Manager Corporate Title: AVP Reporting to: VP - ACO Surveillance / Director RAS, ACO Location: Bengaluru Job Profile Position details: This function covers incumbents who are responsible for ensuring that all of the firm's activities follow the necessary rules and regulations, and that the firm complies with legal/regulatory boundaries and jurisdictions.

Day-to-day focus is on resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines, or processes.

Role at this level usually has full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.

Roles and Responsibilities: Performance of trade and communications surveillance (both ecomms and acomms) across multiple surveillance platforms to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the banks policies and procedures.

Assist in the implementation of trade and communication surveillance processes and system regionally Establishing and maintaining written procedures and governance processes around both trade and communications Surveillance Program Ensuring proper documentation of surveillance work performed Tracking of escalated alerts for further investigation and follow-up.

Support compliance fact-finding by gathering / analyzing data Assist in the preparation of management information for periodic Compliance reports to management, , including identifying potential trends or themes that may warrant further consideration or action Keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes, internal policy updates, and disciplinary actions to ensure that the surveillance systems remains relevant and effective in flagging out non-compliance Support general compliance activities and other duties, including special projects as assigned by management or Regional surveillance team Job Requirements: Bachelors degree 3-7 years in financial services Experience in communications surveillance and/or trade surveillance systems Japanese or other Asian language skill is a plus Exposure to market abuse / manipulation topics Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e.
