Manager Tendering & Estimation - MEP

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Tendering Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and coordinating MEP tender documents, managing the bid process, and developing technical proposals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tender Preparation:
Prepare and coordinate MEP tender documents, including technical and commercial proposals.

2. Bid Management:
Manage the bid process for MEP projects, ensuring timely submission and compliance with tender requirements.

3. Technical Writing:
Develop clear, concise, and compelling technical proposals for MEP systems, including descriptions of engineering solutions and methodologies.

4. Commercial Analysis:
Analyse commercial aspects of MEP tenders, including pricing, terms, and conditions.

5. Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with MEP tenders.

6. Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including MEP engineers, designers, and project managers.

7. Client Engagement:
Engage with clients to understand their MEP requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.

Requirements / Qualification

1. Engineering Degree:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.

2. MEP Experience:
Proven experience in MEP engineering, design, or tendering.

3. Technical Writing:
Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

4. Commercial Awareness:
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business principles.

5. Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyse complex data, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

6. Time Management:
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

7. Collaboration:
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Desired Skills

1. MEP Software:
Familiarity with MEP design software, such as Revit MEP or Auto CAD MEP.

2. Tender Management Software:
Experience with tender management software, such as Procore or Tenderfield.

3. Project Management:
Basic knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.

4. Business Development:
Understanding of business development principles and strategies.

5. LEED or Sustainability Knowledge:
Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED certification.

1. All our Manufacturing industries and offices are in Hosur, 30kms from Bangalore.

2. Corporate office promoted in my profile is located in Hosur, planed for inauguration by end of March, 2025

3. New Main office will be opened in HSR Layout, Bangalore by end if January, 2025 to mainly accomodate the core team for sales and marketing for EPC contracting Civil, PEB, MEP, and Interiors projects for Neo Heights.
