We’re now hiring an Account & Social Media Manager to lead key accounts, drive creative campaigns, and manage internal execution from Chennai.
Role Overview
This is a strategic leadership role for someone with 5–10 years of experience managing high-value accounts — ideally for U. S. clients — across branding and digital marketing. You’ll act as the client’s brand guardian, content strategist, and campaign leader, all while managing a high-performing in-house team.
A strong creative sensibility is essential — you should be able to guide brand voice, creative direction, and social storytelling to ensure every campaign looks great and performs even better.
Key Responsibilities
Client Strategy & Account Management
• Serve as the single point of contact for multiple client accounts, predominantly U. S.-based.
• Understand each client’s goals and craft customized digital and social media strategies.
• Conduct regular strategy calls and present campaign performance, reports, and new ideas.
Campaign Strategy & Planning
• Develop multi-platform strategies across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Linked In, You Tube, Google, and emerging channels.
• Plan content calendars, campaign themes, audience personas, and brand positioning.
Creative Direction & Brand Thinking
• Guide the visual and tonal direction for each brand — ensuring all assets are aligned with their brand identity.
• Collaborate with designers and content creators to brainstorm and approve creative concepts, ad copy, hooks, visuals, and UGC/influencer formats.
• Provide clear briefs and feedback that elevates the work while preserving campaign goals.
Team Leadership & Execution
• Manage a team of content writers, designers, ad managers, and account executives.
• Own internal delivery timelines, task assignments, and quality reviews.
• Lead weekly sprint reviews and campaign retrospectives.
Reporting & Optimization
• Use tools like GA4, Meta Suite, Google Tag Manager, and Linked In Analytics to measure impact.
• Track KPIs like engagement, reach, ROAS, CPA, brand lift — and translate them into actionable insights.
• Suggest creative and strategic iterations based on performance data.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Expertise
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in a digital marketing agency or in-house brand team with a Bachelor's degree is must.
• Must have managed large accounts targeting U. S. markets, preferably with campaign budgets exceeding $25,000/month.
• Strong portfolio of successful branding, content, or performance-led social media campaigns.
• Excellent client communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Creative & Strategic Capabilities
• Strong creative eye — must be able to identify what works visually and narratively for a brand.
• Able to brief, review, and steer content and creative teams in line with campaign goals.
• Passion for visual storytelling, reels, carousels, hooks, and current trends.
Tools & Platforms
• Proficient in Meta Business Suite, GA4, Looker Studio, Trello/Asana/Notion, Canva/Figma (or good design judgment).
• Familiarity with AI tools (Chat GPT, Midjourney, Copy.ai) is must.
• Comfortable managing conversion tracking, UTMs, Meta Pixel, and GA4 integrations with developer support.
