Position:
Media Coordinator
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communications / media related or Masters in PR / Mass-Communication
Experience:
3 – 5 years in a Corporate Communication function or Media PR Agency.
To work closely with Global Head of Communications & Corporate Brand, Biocon Group, to strengthen media relationships and enhance media presence.
Will be responsible for identifying opportunities and coordinating for better coverage throughout the year. Will also be responsible for driving earned media for CSR & sustainability with mainline & regional, vernacular press.
The person will also be responsible for coordinating with the media for earnings and all other press releases to expand company's presence in print & online media channels.
Reporting
Manage the media database and keep it updated at all times.
Analyze market reports and extract relevant data for communication activities.
Generate information for press releases on important company announcements.
Make monthly / quarterly / annually media report on Brand Biocon and Brand Kiran's media coverage.
Develop a Key Messaging Document for Biocon Group and refresh it regularly, will also be required to prepare pitch notes for the media.
Networking
Networking with the regional print & electronic media
Research and target appropriate reporters.
Coordinate media networking meetings, set up monthly outreach with key media for the Group Head Communications.
Co-ordinate for media interviews, press meets & press conferences
Monitoring
Regular Media monitoring and maintaining a database on all media coverage related to Brand Biocon, print, online, electronic.
Managing the media monitoring tools and reviewing and editing the index on a daily basis
